The story:
10 years ago Lee created her dream of a bungalow/restaurant place on her family spot at the westcoast of the island Kho Khao - “Campsite” she named it - a place build in old thaistyle, no electricity only paraffin lamps - original thai food cooked and served by her mother.
Unfortunately the tsunami spoild it all - but the good story is, that Lee and her family survived the wave - and now - ten years after she could re-open the place in November 2014 - still with the same idealistic idea.
Again her mother is the “chef du cuisine” - and her husbond, Montien is the all around assistent.
The paraffin lamps are now battery driven - but the original idea of an adventures paradise - with few guests at a time and a place very different and far from noising tourist “industri” - has been realized again - try it - you will love it.
